After today's workshop, I realized I needed to rethink what "Value" and my worth really mean to me. It goes way beyond my initial thoughts about worth.

Another key insight was the importance of shaping my practice around my lifestyle for balance and joy in serving my clients. My values, family, and faith are crucial.

I discovered calculating my worth and the direction I need to head in is more straightforward than I expected, like setting my personal GPS. I identified myself at a starting point of #3, focusing on what's needed to reach my goals.

Confirming my rates at $175-$200 feels right, but now I'll focus on actually receiving my full fee.

My purpose matters deeply to me. I'm excited to incorporate more of Dr. TK's wisdom into my journey.

 My takeaways:

I realized I do too much. I am only a few months into private practice. Recognizing what I didn't know before has set me on a clear path for improvement and growth. I need to optimize my workflow and focus on what matters most.

Although I have a business plan outlined, my (90-day, 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year) vision for my business need refinement. A takeaway was that it will be easier to track progress and make adjustments when needed (quickly).

Another takeaway was knowing what tasks I can delegate and that this frees up my time and if done well will create a solid team.

One pleasant surprise was that I feel good about being known as “an Expert” in my Niche. Perinatal Mental Health and Black Maternal Mental Health as evidenced by my speaking engagements. Y’all we have to help our mamas/Birthing people and their families. It's hard out here for a Black/Brown Mama.

My biggest take away was that while I’m not where I started with my part time private practice, I have a lot of work to do to operate a thriving full time private practice. What also stood out to me what’s the idea that There is power in celebrating my accomplishments and the investments I’ve made for my personal and professional growth. it’s time to continue to take action if I want to work towards expanding my own dreams and aspirations rather than those of my full time job. To enhance my backend I will write out a detailed 90-day,1yr,3yr, 5yr vision.____

This experience unveiled my innate talent for creating impactful educational content, leading me to build my multi-6-figure solo and group therapy practice and a 7-figure digital product business from the ground up. I've dedicated over 15 years to refining the systems that would allow me to serve thousands of entrepreneurs online, sharing their gifts with the world.

My early days were marked by the challenges of going it alone—no mentorship, no community, no systems. Relying solely on my clinical expertise, my business's revenue was as inconsistent as it was unpredictable.
