(#192) Healing for the Burnt-Out Therapist (w/ Dr. Kimani)
After serving the school district for more than a decade, Dr. Kimani decided to make the leap into private practice. That transition, she realized, has rekindled her passion for therapy. Her approach to serving clients is absolutely driven by her authenticity toward her own healing journey. And she has a bigger mission apart from one-on-one therapy.
In this episode, Dr. Kimani Norrington-Sands joins us to share her journey through mindset shifts and the fulfillment of her purpose as a psychologist. She describes her experience in DTA and the Elite Coaching Mastermind, and how it helped her expand beyond private practice by developing the ‘Butterfly Landing process’ group which aims to support the healing for Black women.
